The management and all employees of ROGUM KABLE Sp. z o.o., with the best interests of our customers, the Company’s growth, and our own well-being in mind, are committed to manufacturing and delivering reliable and safe products on time, while respecting the environment around us.

It has become important how we manage emissions and our carbon footprint, how we approach employee issues and our relationships with suppliers and business partners, and, ultimately, what kind of neighbor we are to local communities.

We had to realize that we do not operate in a vacuum, but within a specific social environment

Therefore, on January 23, 2024, the CEO of Rogum Kable Sp. z o.o. introduced the SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT POLICY

DOCUMENT TITLE: SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT POLICY
DOCUMENT NO.: Z-11
DOCUMENT EDITION: A
DATE OF ISSUE: January 23, 2024

Manufacturing is a fundamental means of meeting human needs; at the same time, it contributes to the depletion of non-renewable resources, causes irreversible changes in biological systems, and disrupts the overall ecological balance. A key feature of sustainable development is the simultaneous consideration of economic, social, and natural (ecological) elements. The ability to conduct economic activity on a continuous basis while maintaining a stable and unimpairing environment is the foundation of socioeconomic development. The implementation of adopted principles of conduct regarding development—which directly influence a range of phenomena, including the adverse impact of economic activity on the environment and the socioeconomic consequences of environmental degradation—is the overarching goal of Rogum Kable Sp. z o.o.’s sustainable development policy.

The goal is to achieve a balance between the company’s environmental, social, and economic policies, resulting in harmony among these business and social aspects.

The company achieves these goals through:

  • rational management of resources and waste,
  • reduction of pollutant emissions,
  • energy conservation,
  • sustainable transportation,
  • sustainable human resources management and a policy of equal treatment and diversity management in the workplace, with particular emphasis on the following areas: recruitment, access to training and promotions, compensation, and work-life balance, so that the standard of work and the work environment are the best possible, where every employee feels respected, valued, and has the opportunity to continuously develop their skills regardless of their views, gender, nationality, or age,
  • social sustainability in the workplace through respect for differences among people, combating discrimination and conflicts, and fostering a culture of social openness,
  • reducing unemployment in the local community and raising awareness of employment opportunities, which depend on the actions of individuals and the policies of economic entities,
  • contributing to social development through initiatives focused on environmental education, as well as creating initiatives that promote a healthy lifestyle linked to physical activity among youth, the local community, and company employees,
  • contributing to social development through initiatives focused on education—shaping current perceptions of practical science, raising awareness of the role of science in daily life and its impact on the region’s economic and social development—and by supporting sponsorships—to create greater opportunities for the younger generation of the local community to launch and advance their scientific and professional careers,
  • encouraging individuals to take responsibility for their actions while maintaining economic efficiency and pursuing continuous improvement.

Rogum Kable Sp. z o.o. initiated a systematic approach to environmental issues and their impact on people and their well-being by introducing an Environmental Policy, which consequently led to operations compliant with the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015-09 management system.
