New Cables in Our Product Line
On October 29, 2018, the company expanded its cable lineup to include a group of low-smoke, flame-retardant mining signal cables. These cables are designed for use in power control, safety, and monitoring equipment in open-pit, shaft, and underground mining operations:
- in non-methane and methane-containing areas of mine workings,
- classified as “a” , “b,” or “c” for methane explosion hazard,
- in workings classified as Class “A” or “B” for coal dust explosion hazard,
- in intrinsically safe circuits,
- in open-pit, shaft, and underground mining operations, including areas outside explosion-hazard zones.
