New Certificate of Conformity for MultiTrans cables – confirmation of the highest standards for rolling stock

Z przyjemnością informujemy, że Rogum Kable Sp. z o.o. uzyskała Certyfikat Zgodności IK/CZ/028/2025/V01 wydany przez Instytut Kolejnictwa – Ośrodek Jakości i Certyfikacji. Certyfikat potwierdza, że nasze bezhalogenowe przewody elektryczne MultiTrans, przeznaczone do taboru szynowego, spełniają najbardziej wymagające normy w zakresie bezpieczeństwa pożarowego.

We are pleased to announce that Rogum Kable Sp. z o.o. has obtained Certificate of Conformity IK/CZ/028/2025/V01 issued by the Railway Institute – Quality and Certification Centre. The certificate confirms that our halogen-free MultiTrans electrical cables, designed for rolling stock, meet the most demanding fire safety standards.

Scope of certification

MultiTrans cables have been assessed in accordance with the following standards:

  • PN‑EN 45545‑2:2021‑01
  • PN‑EN 45545‑2+A1:2024‑04
  • EN 50264‑3‑1 and EN 50264‑3‑2

kolej

and have been found compliant with requirements R15 and R16 at hazard levels HL1, HL2 and HL3 — for both internal and external applications in rail vehicles.

The certificate covers a wide range of MultiTrans cable types, including M, MM, MMS and EMC versions, in voltage classes from 0.6/1 kV to 3.6/6 kV, compliant with the relevant parts of standards EN 50264-3-1 and EN 50264-3-2.

Application

MultiTrans cables are halogen-free cables with enhanced fire resistance, designed specifically for use in the demanding conditions of rolling stock. Their design, compliant with EN 50264‑3‑1 and EN 50264‑3‑2, also ensures high resistance to chemicals typical of the railway environment — such as oils, fuels, lubricants and other aggressive operating agents.

As a result, MultiTrans cables guarantee:

  • long-term reliability,
  • stable electrical performance,
  • and system safety even in the most heavily loaded rail vehicle systems.

These solutions are designed for environments where reliability, durability and safety are an absolute priority.
